Head Of Design


We are looking for a creative leader who will bring design inspiration and thought leadership to our design/creative team and deliver high-quality creative output for our brands. The ideal candidate will be able to effortlessly lead the team, manage stakeholder expectations, develop and implement creative solutions for various marketing projects & business needs, and inspire & motivate the creative team and set its long-term creative vision. The candidate needs to be adaptable, flexible, agile and able to think on their feet to work in our fast-paced startup environment. Out-of-the-box thinkers, designaholics, innovators, and risk-takers, step forward, please.


RESPONSIBILITIES:-


  • Develop ideas and strategies for creative marketing campaigns
  • Lead the design team from conception to execution on campaigns
  • Oversee, give feedback, and ensure consistent, on-time delivery of BAU creatives
  • Support CCO in concept & idea generation, resource & workflow planning, and budgeting
  • Oversee the Creative team, including freelance and full-time graphic designers
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and business/channel heads to ensure campaigns are strategically sound and business objectives are met
  • Collaborate with the video team on relevant video projects
  • Hiring, training, and developing team members; regularly monitoring & communicating performance and providing feedback and coaching
  • Present concepts and campaigns to stakeholders; address feedback with timely, satisfactory creative solutions
  • Maintaining active communication with all departments


REQUIREMENTS:-


  • You have a bachelor’s degree or similar in graphics and web content design or related field
  • 5+ years experience in a design start-up, design, or creative agency/ies
  • Experience creating & managing creative marketing campaigns across diverse platforms including but not limited to digital, social, offline, and mainline
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply visual organization, composition, information hierarchy, typography, aesthetics, etc
  • Experience managing design/creative teams
  • Experience working on beauty, skincare, wellness, personal hygiene, fashion or lifestyle brands
  • Experience in handling shoots - concepts to layouts to pre-prod to post-production
  • Experience working on a D2C or eComm brand is a plus
  • Good communication skills - written and spoken
  • Creative & strategic thinking with problem-solving abilities
  • High levels of self-motivation and perseverance
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Adept at design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Figma, Premier Pro, etc
  • Enthusiastic about branding, packaging, design, social & advertising
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and supervise work
  • Must be a team player and a visionary leader
  • Follow trends and maintain best practices
  • And of course, have a stunning portfolio
  • Knowledge of AI tools and applying them effectively in design projects
