Job Description:
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing computer vision algorithms and applications. Your primary focus will be on OCR, OCV, and defect detection systems. You should possess a solid understanding of image processing techniques and have a strong command of Python, OpenCV, and Flask for GUI development. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to create robust and efficient computer vision solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop computer vision algorithms and applications, with a focus on OCR, OCV, and defect detection.
- Implement image processing techniques to enhance image quality, feature extraction, and pattern recognition.
- Utilize Python, OpenCV, and other relevant libraries to build efficient and scalable computer vision systems.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate computer vision components into larger software solutions.
- Conduct experiments, evaluate performance, and optimize algorithms to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Work closely with data scientists to train and fine-tune machine learning models for computer vision tasks.
- Develop intuitive and user-friendly GUI interfaces using Flask or similar frameworks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision, image processing, and machine learning technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in developing computer vision applications, including OCR, OCV, and defect detection.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language and experience with relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV, NumPy, TensorFlow).
- Solid understanding of image processing techniques such as filtering, segmentation, and feature extraction.
- Experience with GUI development using frameworks like Flask or similar.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application to computer vision problems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time.
