Job Summary: The Ecommerce Manager (Marketplaces) will be responsible for managing and growing Frido’s presence on various online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and others. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of ecommerce trends, marketplace operations, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing marketplace channels, a passion for D2C brands, and a track record of driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities:


1) Marketplace Management:

  • Manage and optimize Frido’s product listings across major online marketplaces.
  • Ensure all listings are accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, pricing, and competition on each platform.

2) Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability on marketplaces.
  • Drive promotional campaigns, including sales events, discounts, and bundling offers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align campaigns across all digital channels.

3) Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor inventory health and avoid out-of-stock situations by forecasting demand.
  • Manage marketplace fulfillment processes, including FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) and other third-party logistics services.

4) Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Track key performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Use data to identify growth opportunities and optimize product performance.

5) Customer Experience:

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Monitor customer reviews and ratings, and address any issues or negative feedback.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience on marketplaces.

6) Compliance & Policy Management:

  • Stay updated with marketplace policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ensure all marketplace activities comply with relevant guidelines and standards.
  • Handle account health issues proactively to avoid suspensions or penalties.

7) Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the product, marketing, and customer service teams to align strategies.
  • Act as the point of contact for marketplace-related queries within the company.
  • Lead initiatives for marketplace expansion and explore opportunities on new platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce management, specifically on marketplaces.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and managing online marketplaces for a D2C brand.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent understanding of marketplace algorithms, SEO, and advertising strategies.
  • Proficiency in using ecommerce tools and software, including marketplace dashboards and analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
