Role: Legal Counsel(2-5 years of experience) - General Corporate Law


Location: Mumbai, India


As a lawyer in our organization , you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal

matters related to corporate law, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate

governance, compliance, and other general corporate legal issues.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on general corporate law matters to internal stakeholders group wide.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, vendor agreements, service agreements and licensing agreements.- Assist in due diligence activities for mergers and acquisitions, including conducting legal research, reviewing documentation, and preparing reports.
  • Advise all group companies on corporate governance matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in corporate law and regulations. - Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, human resources, product, technology, data, business, sales, marketing and operations, to ensure legal compliance and provide guidance on legal matters.
  • Work on intellectual property and data protection law projects


Indicative candidate:

● Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited institution.

● Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

● 2-5 years of experience in general corporate law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal

department.

● Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, and legal principles.

● Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.

● Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
