Associate Professor

Teaching and Education:

• Clinical Training: Provide hands-on clinical training to medical students and residents during clinical rotations in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Assessments: Design, conduct, and evaluate exams, practical assessments, and assignments for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Curriculum Development: Participate in the development, review, and updating of the curriculum to ensure it aligns with current best practices and medical standards.

2. Clinical Duties:

• Patient Care: Provide clinical care in obstetrics and gynecology, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients.
• High-Risk Obstetrics: Manage and provide care for high-risk pregnancies, complications during labor, and postpartum care.
• Surgical Procedures: Perform and assist in surgeries such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and other gynecological surgeries.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on reproductive health, prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and gynecological health.

3. Research:

• Clinical Research: Conduct and participate in clinical research projects in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Publications: Contribute to academic publications in peer-reviewed journals, presenting research findings to the medical community.
• Research Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and other institutions on research initiatives and grant applications.

4. Administrative and Academic Support:

• Departmental Meetings: Actively participate in departmental meetings, contribute to policy development, and assist in administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Student Mentoring: Provide academic and career guidance to students, particularly postgraduate students and residents working in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing medical education (CME), workshops, and conferences.

5. Academic Contributions:

• Conferences and Workshops: Attend and present at national and international conferences and workshops on obstetrics and gynecology.
• Community Outreach: Contribute to the department’s outreach programs, such as health camps and awareness programs in the local community.
