Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior TM1 Developer to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting our IBM Planning Analytics (formerly Cognos TM1) environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders and analysts to translate business needs into robust and efficient TM1 models, cubes, and processes.


Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement complex TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, and rules to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Develop and maintain Turbo Integrator processes to automate data loads, calculations, and transformations within TM1.

Write efficient and maintainable TM1 rules using calculations, logic functions, and scripting languages (e.g., TM1 Turbo Script).

Configure and manage TM1 security to ensure data access control and user permissions.

Develop and maintain data connections between TM1 and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).

Integrate TM1 with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) for interactive dashboards and reporting.

Test, debug, and troubleshoot TM1 models, processes, and data integrations.

Provide technical support to users on TM1 functionality and best practices.

Document TM1 models, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Stay up-to-date on the latest TM1 features and functionalities through ongoing learning and professional development.

Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the development team (optional).


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining complex TM1 models, cubes, and processes.

Proven experience with Turbo Integrator and TM1 scripting languages.

Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling principles.

Experience with financial planning and budgeting concepts (highly preferred).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with data integration tools and techniques (a plus).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
