Data Engineer(Immediate Joiners Preferred)

Exp:7+ Years


The Data Engineer will work closely with other members of the data team to ensure data is properly ingested, cleaned, and stored for future analysis. He/she will take requirements from the reporting & business analysis team (product owner and reporting specialists) and create the appropriate views to secure the availability of the data.

He/she will ensure that proper monitoring is implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL processes to collect, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Build, optimize, and manage databases and data marts to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and accuracy throughout the ETL pipeline and data storage solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes and database performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Implement data monitoring tools to detect any data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Document ETL processes, data flows, and database schemas to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Respond to customer and operation requests regarding data quality issues and perform the analysis of the root cause
  • Continusouly improve the data processing system looking for the most cost effective solution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on ETL processes and database management.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Azure data management suite (MSSQL, Data factories, Azure cloud monitoring, etc.) and Python scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems
  • Strong C# development skills
