Principal Software Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Engineer (C++) for our client, a US based software product company.


Job Location: Bengaluru Or Pune


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of innovative financial products, modules, and features.
  • Uphold best practices including code reviews, adherence to SOLID principles, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Collaborate within an Agile framework, such as Scrum or SAFE.
  • Architect and implement microservices and event-driven applications leveraging Kubernetes.
  • Resolve complex application defects through debugging and analysis.
  • Foster knowledge sharing within the team.


Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with extensive experience in C++ development.
  • 10 -15 years of software development experience with a focus on design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming with strong OOPs (object-oriented programming) skills.
  • Experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL programming.
  • Hands-on experience with various tools and technologies including QT, ReST, Swagger, Redis, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, GIT, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
  • Additional experience with Python and Java is advantageous.
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude towards addressing challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; certifications such as Cambridge, TOEFL, or IELTS are desirable.
  • Knowledge or experience in the financial industry is a plus.
