The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.

Responsibilities

Procure parts and materials at the negotiated rate

Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery to our customers

Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy

Oversee and support our purchasing staff

Preparing purchase/service orders and getting approvals from various authorities in the system.

Goods/services received note after receipt of goods.

Processing invoices for payment.

WO’s / PO’s report.

Procurement of Goods & Services including IT procurement.

Analyze various quotations put forth by the vendor and prepare comparison reports.

Discussing technical terms & commercial negotiation with the Contractor/Supplier.

Developing new vendors to achieve cost efficiency, minimum delivery time & fulfilling quality issues.

Follow up with suppliers to ensure the best possible service & timely delivery by supplier.

Online purchase support

Coordination with the Accounts team

Submitting invoices to the accounts department for payments.

Coordinating and following up with the accounts department for supplier/vendor payments, clearing debit balance issues & maintaining other payment-related documents.

Preparing monthly provisions and submitting the same.

Maintaining a database of all the vendors.

Maintaining & keeping records of vendor’s outstanding payments.

Keeping track of purchase/work order/AMC

Budget and Expense tracker

Coordination with the internal team for purchase requirements


Qualifications


  • Postgraduate/Graduate with appropriate certificate/diploma course.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • 3 - 10 years of purchasing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Skills required:- Knowledge of relevant technology, excellent written and oral communication skills, professional and flexible attitude towards change, and continuous improvement.
