JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and robust Python applications in line with industry standards.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  • Integrate data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
  • Maintain security and data protection within applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from conception to launch.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure project standards are maintained.

Skills Required:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and performant software solutions.
  • Experience with end-to-end development, from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Previous work in developing REST APIs and server-side logic.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services and containerization is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Core Python: Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Python, with a strong understanding of OOP and SOA concepts.
  • Frameworks: Proficient with various Python frameworks like Flask, Django, etc., specifically for core application development.
  • API Development: Experience with Flask or similar tools for building RESTful APIs.
  • Database Skills: Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, ORM (Object Relational Mapping) libraries.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using version control tools such as Git.
  • Testing: Experience in writing unit tests and integration tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
