KRA :- 

1.     Timely and accurate finalization of accounts for the stock brokerage firm in compliance with NSE, BSE, and regulatory requirements.

2.     Preparation of balance sheet, P&L account, and financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and applicable laws.

3.     Manage and oversee settlement of funds and securities with NSE/BSE.

4.     Handle pay-in and pay-out processes for trading operations, ensuring compliance with the exchange's settlement timelines.

5.     Depository Participant (DP) Stock Reconciliation

6.     Reconcile client funds and stock balances with the firm's records.

7.     Ensure accurate settlement of funds, monitoring client margin accounts, and fund inflows/outflows.

8.     Ensure strict compliance with NSE/BSE/NSDL/CDSL and SEBI regulations.

9.     Work closely with internal and external auditors during audits, ensuring smooth completion of statutory and regulatory audits.

10.  Maintain updated audit trails and assist in resolving audit queries.

11.  Handle all taxation matters including GST, TDS, and other tax compliances related to stockbroking operations.


Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant certifications.

NISM Series VI – Depository Operations Certification

NISM Series VII – Securities Operations and Risk Management (SORM) Certification

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounts finalization, stock market operations, and DP reconciliation with NSE/BSE brokers.

Strong knowledge of SEBI, NSE/BSE, NSDL/CDSL regulations and settlement procedures.


Skills: 

  - Proficient in financial reporting, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.

  - Expertise in using stockbroking and DP software such as ODIN, NOW, NSE/BSE terminals, and back-office platforms.

  - Strong understanding of stock market settlements, fund flow mechanisms, and risk management.

- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for handling internal and external stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
