Position Profile

Weaver’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in India is looking for an Associate to join our growing team. This individual is responsible for completion of TAS Financial Due Diligence engagement objectives. They will take ownership of small projects under the supervision of more experienced team members, while performing analysis of complex and often voluminous information, as well as prepare concise reports. This individual will build initial analysis from source documents, understand the level of quality and deliverable expectations (i.e., formatting, layout, accuracy, etc.) for each client, and assist in preparing initial agendas, schedules, and exhibits. The ideal candidate will have the ability to establish trust with the client, and maintain good working relationships and communication with client personnel and teammates. This position can be based in Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, or Kochi India as part of Weaver and Tidwell India, L.L.P.


To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field required
  • 1-2 + years’ experience in Financial Due Diligence / Audit & Accounting or its equivalent during Articleship or post-qualification
  • Thorough understanding of basic financial statements
  • Sufficient technical skills to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position including a demonstrated understanding of GAAP
  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and deadline oriented.


Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CA preferred
