Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Welding Coordinator . The Welding Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to MIG , TIG , Resistance welding , quality control, arc welding, welding inspection, and metallurgy. The role is located in Prayagraj and requires the candidate to work on-site.

Qualifications :

Must Haves :

-> NDT Level II Certification for VT , UT , PT , MPT , & RT .

-> Certified Welding co-ordinator (CWC-01) as per EN ISO 14731 .

-> Certified Welding co-ordinator for EN ISO ISO 3834-2 Audit .

-> Knowledge of Design and Design Softwares like Autocad and Autocad 3D/Catia , Pro E .

• PPAP Documentation and implementation for New Product Development .
• Knowledge of PFMEA , APQP , 7 QC tools and QAP .
• Responsible for destructive testing like Hardness testing , Macro Examination Or Weld Penetrant Testing .
• REsponsible for Welder qualification and WPS qualification as per standard .
• Co-ordinating client and system Audits on shop floor ( EN ISO 3834-2)
• Responsible for SPC for better process control on production line .
• Knowledge of welding positions as per ASME Sec-IX and EN 3834-2 Std .
• Experience in Quality Control and Welding Inspection .
• Knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment like MIG , MAG , TIG , Resistance Welding , oxy -acetylene Welding .
• Knowledge of process Audit and Product Audit .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Proficiency in relevant software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in transformer or electrical equipment manufacturing, is a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
