Job Description:

As a Frontend Developer specializing in React.js, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces. 2.5+ years of experience developing frontend web applications is required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development


Requirements:

  • 2.5+ years of experience developing frontend web applications is required.
  • Proven experience as a React.js Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  • Familiarity with Next.js framework
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and best practices
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
