Sr Software Application Engineer C++

Concentrix Application Development team is ideally looking for Sr Software Application C++ developers. This is an Application development rather than traditional “embedded” development. We are looking for people who understand APIs, protocols, and ideally payments. Ideally having worked with Linux. Experience in Windows cross platform development is important.


Total Years of experience: 5-10Yrs


An Application Engineer, good C++ & Linux Application development skillsets what we are looking for but perhaps even more important here is a experience in the payment domain – an understanding of ISO8583 type messaging, payment transaction types, payment software development exposure, EMV understanding, Payments security and certification etc.


This position requires the following technical skills:


Essential:

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Development, or Engineering

Proficient in C++

5+ years of development and/or testing experience – developing code using C++

Experience with Version Control Systems (Git)

Technical skills including high level understanding of software development, network systems, software test

Problem investigation and resolution experience in a software environment


Desirable:

Payments and/or Retail Petroleum industry experience

Embedded Linux x86 / ARM

C, Java, Assembler, Python, Bash scripting

Ability to promote a test-driven development approach

Experience using embedded tools; compilers, debuggers, JTAG, protocol analysers, RTOS or OSes


Work Location: Bangalore

Working Mode: Work from office

Only preferring immediate joiners who can join max in 15days
