What You’ll Do:
As a NOC Technician, you'll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the stability of our data centers during a 12-hour shift. You will oversee critical systems, ensuring optimal performance and swift resolution of issues. The role involves diagnosing and resolving network issues, collaborating with the IT team, and providing technical support to end-users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring: Continuously oversee data center operations, including camera feeds, hashrates, temperatures, and weather alerts.
- Assessment & Escalation: Evaluate the urgency of issues and escalate critical incidents to appropriate teams in a timely manner.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams and external partners.
- Documentation: Accurately record incidents, actions taken, and resolutions in a NOC log.
- Maintenance: Regularly check system performance, perform routine inspections, and ensure all monitoring tools and protocols are functioning correctly.
- Response: Quickly respond to alerts, investigate anomalies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an NOC Technician or a similar role
- Ability to assess and prioritize incidents based on urgency.
- Experience with monitoring tools and data center operations.
- Familiarity with camera systems, temperature sensors, and hash rate monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Availability for 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
