Job Description:

As IT EH&S and Sustainability Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting Product Stewardship and Sustainability projects and initiatives and manage and improve relationship with the business stakeholders and support the technical team. Reporting to the EH&S and Sustainability Business Partner, this position is part of the IT Applications team within IT.

Job Responsibility:

• You will be responsible for: - Support Products Stewardship and Sustainability projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (internal and externals).
• Perform business (process) analysis and translate business requirements into workable solutions and/or functional design for specific projects and changes, including enhancements.
• Write functional analysis for specific configurations, reports, business documents and developments.
• Support the Implementation and maintenance of global processes to coordinate and prioritize projects demand between the functions and IT.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and devise customized solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Environment, Health and Safety and Sustainability Tools.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors supporting EHS and Sustainability Platforms and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Lead & manage AMS partners to ensure all requests (Incidents/Service Requests/Change Requests) under your area are on track and delivered on time.

Profile:

• 5 to 10 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments within Chemical or related industries.
• 5+ years of proven experience with SAP EH&S (mainly Product Safety, Hazardous substance management, Global Label Management and Dangerous Goods Management. Nice to have SAP Green Ledger and other Sustainability tools)
• Experience and understanding on other EH&S registration and compliance satellite tools: Regulatory contents, Poison center notification, etc.
• Basic Knowledge in other SAP technologies and applications (Basic ABAP skills are nice to have).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Project management skills. Relative certifications will be favorably considered.
• Understanding of data privacy and security regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
