JOB DESCRIPTION:


This is the senior level for software engineers at Vituity, who have shown their expertise and leadership in software engineering. This position has mastered multiple programming languages, tools, and frameworks. A Senior Full Stack React/.NET engineer is expected to work on highly critical and impactful tasks, and can design and architect entire systems or products for Vituity. This position is also expected to lead and manage projects or initiatives, and provide technical guidance and direction to other engineers. This role is also responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, security, and scalability of Vituity's software products, and for innovating and creating new solutions for Vituity's customers and partners.

Application Development (80%)


  • Participating in the full cycle of software application and business logic development;
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum sessions;
  • Participating in project estimation and planning;
  • Conducting code reviews & writing code and tests;
  • Assisting deployment, testing/validation on QA;
  • Assisting deployment, validation, troubleshooting/support on production.


Operational Support (20%)

  • Assisting deployment, testing/validation on QA;

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of practical experience with .NET
  • 3+ years in production full-stack software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in production full-stack software engineering on Microsoft Azure platform

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities):

  • Hands-on experience with development of RESTFUL web services using Asp.Net Web APIs & microservices;
  • Experience and deep knowledge of .NET, ASP.NET/ASP.NET web forms and MVC, MS SQL Server; Strong experience in .NET Core (5-7);
  • Strong experience in React, CSS, Powershell, JavaScript;
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodology for both frontend and backend;
  • Ability to break complex problems down into small pieces;
  • Familiarity with container technologies and microservices applications and with CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub, Azure DevOps) will be a plus;
  • Familiarity with API management tools and best practices; experience with common API gateways such as Kong, Gloo, and APIM will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with application security; experience with healthcare industry will be a plus;
  • Familiarity with SRE concepts and experience in application KPI tracking will be a plus;
  • Experience in Github or GitLab; familiarity with GitHub action.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Terraform.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); experience with Scrum will be a plus;
  • Good communication skills in English.
