In our team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations.


Responsibilities:

Business


  • Be part of Product Control team covering various product categories and regions. (Asset classes: FX/FXO, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit, Commodities, Treasury etc.)
  • Ensure appropriate controls and reviews are maintained for Daily P&L production, Core reconciliations, Month end close and BSS.
  • Ensure the teams are performing timely lockdown of daily and monthly P&L.
  • Review monthly/quarterly balance sheet, with substantiation and potential financial exposure.
  • Handle upstream system transformation change implementations such as ASPIRE ICON, GPTM (Broadridge) for Fixed income and FMRP (Blade) for Derivatives, etc.
  • Review various reconciliation reports, management packs and ad-hoc reports.
  • Review of month end Journals for accrual, provision and true up.
  • Take responsibility for the quality of work submitted and ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA's, KPI's Internal metrics & FMG wide policies.
  • Identify/ manage risk and control breakdowns.
  • Develop & maintain effective and standard processes. Maintain KOP's/DI's.


Controls

  • Develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures which ensure the accounting, management and financial reporting integrity of the trading desks’ balance sheet and P&L.
  • Responsible for designing, building and maintaining a robust control environment in respect of daily P&L reporting, P&L attribution and balance sheet substantiation
  • Research market best practices and keep abreast of the evolving issues that affect the valuation of the FM business.
  • Supporting the introduction of new products within businesses and related pre and post

Qualifications


· MBA or equivalent Master's degree

· Knowledge of risk management and regulatory areas would be preferred eg. Basel, Stress Testing,

· Professional certifications like CFA and FRM would be highly desirable
