Job Title: Head of Engineering

Location: Ahmedabad

Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Engineering with 20-25 years of expertise in the Wind Turbine Generator industry to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will lead and oversee all engineering activities, driving innovation and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Experience

  • 20-25 years of progressive engineering experience in the Wind Turbine Generator industry
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading engineering teams and delivering complex projects
  • Proven experience in driving innovation and implementing best practices in engineering processes

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the engineering team, providing strategic direction and guidance
  • Overseeing the design, development, and deployment of Wind Turbine Generator systems
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and optimize project delivery
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions
  • Identifying and evaluating new technologies and methodologies to enhance product performance and efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols
  • Participating in budget planning and resource allocation for engineering projects
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges
  • Building a culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence within the engineering organization
  • Reporting progress, risks, and opportunities to senior management

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering or a relevant discipline (preferred)

Certification Required

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
