Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Engineer with a strong background in AWS, Python, NumPy, and Pandas to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in developing data-driven solutions, building and deploying machine learning models, and working with large datasets on cloud platforms. This role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse data, solve complex problems, and deliver high-impact solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and deploy scalable data science solutions on AWS infrastructure.

· Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Python, Pandas, and NumPy.

· Build and optimise machine learning models for predictive and prescriptive analytics.

· Perform data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering for large datasets.

· Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data quality.

· Implement best practices in data storage, retrieval, and analysis to drive business insights.

· Optimize the use of AWS services like S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, and Redshift for data processing and storage.

· Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and visualisations.

· Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies.


Required Skills:

· Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and its libraries (NumPy, Pandas).

· Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Redshift).

· Data Processing: Strong experience with data wrangling, cleaning, and preprocessing using Pandas and NumPy.

· Machine Learning: Experience with building and deploying machine learning models.

· Data Handling: Strong experience working with large datasets and relational databases.

· Problem-Solving: Ability to apply data science methodologies to solve real-world business problems.

· Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with machine learning frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

· Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

· Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.


Education:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
