Project Manager - Watches Ecommerce Web & App - Job Description.

  • The Candidate must have knowledge on Ecommerce web & mobile application development - on one of the Mobile Technology android & ios with an basic understanding on connecting the Apps to AWS middleware.
  • Understand the business & functional requirements of eCommerce Application, Candidate need to plan the technical feasibility, requirements document and ensure platform standards are followed to build Ecommerce website & mobile applications.
  • Coordinate with external partners and business users for technical points / requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure product delivered as per the technical design.
  • Delivery of enhancements, integrations, maintenance, and support of Ecommerce apps. Partnering with business stakeholders, architects to understand business requirements and low-level technical design
  • Recommend and implement best practice / process to optimize the product. Responsible for Leading multiple delivery streams to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Incident and problem analysis, providing solutions, taking over the technical resolution ownership. Ensure risks are pro-actively managed and highlighted in right forums to seek support for resolution
  • Plan, manage, track delivery through a combination of agile tools and traditional planning tools where required to ensure overall delivery across all streams are sequenced and tracked
  • Ensure all deliverables, checkpoints are planned and delivered to meet the standards and quality gates. Pro-active planning on development dependencies and plan and track them to closure
  • Conduct regular checkpoints ( daily scrums , weekly project meetings) and track actions to closure. Promote a culture of inclusiveness and have active participation from the team during team meetings and standups. Participate in scrum of scrums and cross-stream meetings to discuss, highlight dependencies across systems.
  • During test phases, actively drive defect fixes to meet SLAs. measure and manage defect density, re-open rates. Identify areas of improvement from each sprint and work towards continuous improvement to improve sprint velocity and quality.
  • Leading and contributing to cross-team improvement initiatives relating to agile methods, CI/CD tools, people, architecture, project management and governance, including further adoption and improvements to the Ecommerce Application.

Experience

  1. Five to Six years of experience in the IT-Industry
  2. Should have been Lead an IT-Project of Medium scale
  3. Active member of Major Project during his tenure
  4. Exposure to managing large Data and Project Management would be an advantage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in ecommerce or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms, web technologies, and mobile app development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
