PLASMA ENGINEER


Responsibilities:

 Multiphysics simulation and modeling with focus on ICP and CCP plasma modeling using gas phase and surface reactions

 Work collaboratively with RF/EM physicists and process engineers to improve chamber design and processes.

 Visualize modeling results, analyze the data, generate report with clear conclusions and recommendations

 Provide simulation analysis driven design guidance for plasma chamber development

 Perform simulation DoE to find optimum design/process conditions.

 Perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot problems and provide guidance to resolve difficult process issues using modeling analysis

 Validate simulation/model with experimental data. Collect/measure data as needed for model validation.

 Strengthen the centralized modelling and simulation group


Requirements:

 Plasma Engineer with 3-7 years of experience

 PhD in plasma physics, electromagnetics or a related field with relevant experience in electromagnetic and plasma modeling

 Experience in modeling of low temperature ICP and CCP plasma using research or commercial codes

 Demonstrated understanding in low-temperature plasmas applications for

semiconductor manufacturing

 Flexible to work with global team located in different continent.


Desired Skills:

 Expert in using commercial CFD modeling software such as Ansys Fluent and/or COMSOL and/or Quntemol

 Excellent data analysis skills, including numerical and statistical analysis of data.

 Experience with python scripting and/or Matlab scripting is plus
