About the Role:

T-Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead SAP Architect to join our team and manage the Shell account in Bangalore. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in representing T-Systems towards Shell’s Portfolio, Architecture, and Business senior management. The Lead SAP Architect will be responsible for upselling and designing new SAP solutions/services for Shell during quarterly roadmap sessions and RFPs, while also maintaining a deep understanding of technical details to effectively collaborate with Shell’s architects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Representation and Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between T-Systems and Shell’s senior management for all SAP-related matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Shell’s Portfolio, Architecture, and Business units.
  1. Solution Design and Upselling:
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and design innovative SAP solutions and services tailored to Shell’s needs.
  • Lead the development of proposals and presentations for quarterly roadmap sessions and RFPs.
  1. Technical Expertise and Collaboration:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Shell’s existing SAP landscape and architecture.
  • Collaborate with Shell’s architects to ensure that proposed solutions meet their technical standards and requirements.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends, with a focus on RISE with SAP.
  1. Project Leadership:
  • Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with Shell’s business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring high quality and timely execution.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve T-Systems' SAP offerings and delivery processes.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the T-Systems team to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP architecture and solution design.
  • Proven track record of working with large, complex SAP environments, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP RISE, and other relevant SAP solutions.
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems.
