Republic TV, a pioneering force in Indian news media, is expanding its digital horizons. We are seeking a passionate Flutter Developer to join our dynamic technology team in Mumbai. This role involves crafting high-quality mobile applications that align with our innovative approach to news dissemination and viewer engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced applications for the mobile platform using Flutter.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure robust code quality, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Refactor existing applications for optimizing performance and scalability.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization through proper documentation and version control practices.
  • Implement secure, JSON Web Token-based authentication and data protection measures.
  • Stay updated with new technology trends, applications, and programming languages in the mobile development field.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • Proven software development experience and skills in Flutter and Dart.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or the Google Play Store.
  • Deep understanding of Android and iOS design principles and interface guidelines.
  • Proficient in code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for performance optimization and debugging.


Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Understanding of continuous integration.
