Job title: Transition Manager

Job Overview:

Responsible for ensuring that the transitions are implemented according to schedule. Update management, personnel, and clients on any prospective transition-related changes. Spot any transition challenges, take it with the relevant stake holder for resolution without compromising on project timeline.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute comprehensive transition plans, outline tasks, timelines, and resources.
  • Lead transitions and change initiatives.
  • Maintain &improve stakeholder relationships and ensure that stakeholder/ customer satisfaction scores are high.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (including client representatives) to analyse requirements and plan for process transitions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition process.
  • Coordinate with project teams and departments to ensure alignment with transition objectives.
  • Liaise with business lines and functions (Operations, HR, Training, Quality, IT, Risk & Compliance, Information Security, IT) on training, recruitment and system requirements for projects.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, documentation requirements and project timelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of transitions, address issues pro-actively.
  • Track project implementation, quality, risks and concerns and publish periodic status updates.
  • Escalate project related risks and concerns pro-actively.
  • Contribute for various Bid related activities and responses to RFPs as and when required.
  • Contribute to improve current practices of the Projects team and be able to participate diligently in any internal related projects.
  • Communicate changes to relevant stakeholders and managing resistance effectively.

Desired Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree: project management certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing transitions (3+ years).
  • Expertise in project management, as well as transition documentation, tools, and templates.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • Flexible to work in shifts.
  • Flexible to travel as required.
