JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes. Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Make sure that organization’s needs are met as projects evolve
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Help prepare budgets


ABOUT CANDIDATE:

An ideal candidate will be someone who find himself/herself meeting below traits:


# Technical Knowledge and skills

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and network designers to understand network requirements and objectives.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting network diagrams, floor plans, and blueprints.
  • Knowledge and experience to create detailed structured cabling designs and plans, including cable pathways, equipment layout, and network configurations.
  • WAN links deployments
  • Installation, termination, and testing of copper and fiber optic cables connectors, and related network equipment.
  • Efficient mounting and configuration of network racks, cabinets, and patch panels.
  • Cable laying/pulling, dressing, labelling, and cable management to ensure a clean and organized installation.
  • Data Center infrastructure commissioning like UPS, Precision AC, Fire Suppression, VESDA, water leakage detection, rodent repellent etc
  • Working knowledge about Servers and network equipment will be preferred


# Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create accurate as-built documentation of the installed cabling system, including drawings, diagrams, and test results.
  • Use your experience to maintain comprehensive records of cable routes, labeling, and connectivity information.
  • Generate reports on project progress, issues encountered, and recommendations for improvement.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience in designing, installing, and maintaining structured cabling systems and Data Center Infrastructure
  • Proven work experience in a similar role. Should have attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management. Should possess strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
