The Quality Leader establishes and maintains accurate process recipes for operations to safely produce products that consistently meet codes, specifications, and customer requirements at the lowest cost. The Quality Leader is accountable for continuously improving the manufacturing process to eliminate waste, improve safety, reduce cost, increase capacity and productivity, and improve the product.


Location: Silvassa, UT of DNH


Responsibilities

The Quality Leader will have responsibility for:

  • Identifying, understanding, and teaching the critical product characteristics required for quality products.
  • Supporting trials for new and existing products to meet customer’s fitness for use.
  • Conducting daily process audits to review Critical Product Characteristics and Critical Process Variables and implementing sustainable corrective actions for process shifts or upsets.
  • Determining process consistency and capability (Cpk)
  • Implementing control charting schemes for Critical Process Variables
  • Conducting process audits and implementing corrective actions to ensure product consistency and maximum volume.
  • Identifying and eliminating special causes of product and process variation (troubleshooting)
  • Analyzing product and process data, providing feedback, and making recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Implementing corrective actions for issues surfaced through quality complaints and hold tags.
  • Creating, and documenting process settings and work instructions
  • Identifying, analytically justifying, and requesting capital funding for equipment, modifications, etc.
  • Defining and tracking measures of success
  • Training employees in process control procedures


Qualification

• B.Tech. / MTech. in Polymer Science & Technology from reputed institutes with a minimum of 15-20 Years

Experience

• Experience in Polymer Processing, Compounding, and Leading Quality and new Product Development Functions in medium to large-sized Polymer Processing Industries.

• Certification Knowledge of (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 17025, BIS, CE, NSF… etc.)

• Six Sigma or lean manufacturing experience

• Knowledge and experience in project management
