Job Title: Business Valuations Analyst

Location: Gurgaon/Hyderabad


Experience: 3 to 7 Years


Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Business Valuations Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform valuation analysis across different sectors for financial and tax reporting purposes. This role includes portfolio valuation, purchase price allocation, intangible assets valuation, goodwill impairment testing, and legal entity valuation, all in accordance with ASC 820, ASC 805, ASC 350, and ASC 946.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform valuation analysis across various sectors for financial and tax reporting.
  • Conduct portfolio valuation, purchase price allocation, intangible assets valuation, goodwill impairment testing, and legal entity valuation.
  • Good understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 820, ASC 805, ASC 350, and ASC 946 standards.
  • Understand and apply different valuation methods.
  • Review and validate valuation models.
  • Prepare detailed industry and company research reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial assessments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on valuation analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in valuation analysis, financial due diligence, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in valuation methods and financial modeling.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ASC 820, ASC 805, ASC 350, and ASC 946 standards.
  • Familiarity with financial due diligence processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
