Position Overview

As the Head of Engineering, you will be a critical leader within our team, responsible for shaping and executing the technical vision of our product. This role offers a unique opportunity to become a partner in the company, sharing in the success and growth of the business. We are seeking someone who is passionate about technology, eager to innovate, and motivated by the challenge of building a groundbreaking product from the scratch.


Job Description

Title: Head of Engineering (Partner Role)

Location: Delhi NCR or Remote

Type: Full-time / Part Time, Partner Role


Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for the development of our super app.
  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and high-performance systems.
  • Ensure the application is robust, secure, and delivers an exceptional user experience.
  • Team Building and Management:
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Product Development:
  • Oversee the end-to-end development process, from concept to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to deliver high-quality products.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Partnership and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cab aggregators and other partners to integrate their services seamlessly into our platform.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strategic Contribution:
  • Participate in strategic decision-making as a key member of the leadership team.
  • Contribute to business planning, fundraising efforts, and overall company growth.
  • Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.


Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience in leading the development of mobile applications (iOS and Android) and backend systems.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g., React Native, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, RESTful APIs).
  • Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset:
  • Passion for startups and building innovative products.
  • Willingness to take ownership and drive initiatives independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
