Designation - Operations Head (Corrugation Plant)

Location - Jarod , near Vadodara

Qualification - B. Tech

Experience - 15 to 20 Years ( At least 5 years in lead role)


Key Roles / Responsibilities: -


· Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily operations of the corrugation plant to ensure efficient and timely production.
  • Implement best practices in manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers.
  • Oversee the availability of plant machinery, implementing controlled maintenance activities to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

· Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term operational plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans that encompass both long-term and short-term strategies, including capital expenditures, site assessments, and selection of consultants and contractors for construction and operational resources.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and optimize product offerings.

· Profit and Loss Management:

  • Take full responsibility for the plant’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Analyze cost structures and identify areas for improvement to enhance profitability.

· Team Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop plant personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Conduct training programs to enhance skills and ensure compliance with safety standards.

· Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain quality control measures to meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Cost Management:

  • Manage the plant budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and identifying areas for cost reduction.
  • Oversee inventory management and procurement processes.

· Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.

· Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Liaise with senior management and other departments to align operational goals with business strategy.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
