Optima Robotics is seeking an experienced and talented Mechanical Draftsman / Industrial Designer to join our team. We design, manufacture and install industrial robots and automation machinery for a range of industries across India and Australia. 


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Draftsperson/Industrial Designer at Optima Robotics in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. As a Mechanical Draftsperson/Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating detailed mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for various projects. You will be ensuring the accuracy and functionality of the designs. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of manufacturing processes.


Experience with industrial robot simulation software would be advantageous. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • Experience in mechanical design and drafting
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
