📍 Location: Jodhpur, Rajasthan (Project Sites) 🎓 Qualification: Graduate in any discipline (technical background preferred) 🕒 Experience: 4–6 years 💰 Salary Range: ₹2.4 LPA – ₹4.2 LPARole SummaryThe Store Keeper will be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, security, and issuance of construction materials, tools, and equipment at project sites. The role demands a disciplined professional who can coordinate with multiple contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth material flow, accurate inventory control, and strict compliance with quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities1. Material Receipt & VerificationReceive materials, tools, and equipment at site and verify them against purchase orders, delivery challans, and specifications.Coordinate with QA/QC engineers for inspection and acceptance/rejection of materials.Ensure accurate recording of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in both physical and digital systems.2. Storage & Inventory ManagementOrganize and maintain systematic storage ensuring safety, accessibility, and prevention of damages/losses.Implement FIFO/LIFO principles as per material requirements.Maintain detailed stock registers and digital entries; conduct regular stock audits.3. Material Issuance & CoordinationIssue materials to contractors strictly against approved requisitions/issue slips.Track material consumption and flag variances against BOQs or contractor requirements.Coordinate for return of surplus/unused materials.4. Documentation & ReportingMaintain complete records of receipts, issues, transfers, and balances in both manual and ERP systems.Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for Project Manager/Accounts/Procurement.Ensure compliance with audit requirements and company policies.5. Compliance & Process ControlEnforce safety and security procedures for material handling and storage (fire safety, theft prevention, hazardous storage).Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and preservation of materials per IS standards.Support value engineering by tracking wastage, pilferage, and optimizing material flow.Skills & Competencies RequiredAbility to coordinate with procurement, QA/QC, accounts, and contractors.High standards of integrity, accountability, and discipline.Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.Knowledge of construction materials, consumables, tools, and equipment.Proficiency in MS Office & ERP/Inventory software.Adaptable, result-driven, and medically fit for site duties.
