We work in the poorest regions of India to help vulnerable communities organize collectives that help people, especially women, earn a decent living and support their families. We also help them access government programs and other entitlements as citizens.

We are in the process of implementing ERPnext as our business transaction platform. We are looking for a Python Developer to be based at our NOIDA Office.

Python Developer:

1. Application Support and Maintenance:

 Provide ongoing support for existing web applications developed in Python.

 Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize downtime.

 Conduct root cause analysis of system problems and implement appropriate solutions.

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and system administrators, to address application-related issues.


2. Bug Fixing and Code Enhancement:

 Debug and diagnose application defects and bugs to identify the root cause.

 Develop and implement code fixes and enhancements to improve the functionality and performance of web applications.

 Conduct thorough testing of code changes to ensure proper functionality and adherence to requirements.

 Maintain version control and documentation of code changes for future reference.


3. System Integration and Data Management:

 Integrate web applications with external systems, APIs, and databases.

 Develop data processing and management scripts to support data synchronization and manipulation.

 Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate data handling practices.


4. Performance Optimization:

 Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks in web applications.

 Optimize code, database queries, and system configurations to

improve application performance and response time.

 Monitor application performance metrics and implement proactive

measures to prevent performance issues.


5. Collaboration and Communication:

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and

provide technical expertise on application support and improvement

initiatives.

 Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs

and provide timely updates on issue resolution and progress.

 Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing

sessions to maintain code quality and share best practices.


Qualifications and Skills:

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related

field.

 Minimum 1 year of experience as a Python Developer, preferably in supporting and

maintaining web applications.

 Strong proficiency in Python programming language and its associated frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).

 Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is desirable.


 Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.

 Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile software development methodologies.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

 Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

 Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
