Frontend UI Engineering Manager

We are looking for a bright and exceptional Engineering Manager to join our Front-end Technology team.


This position is for HYD/BLR.


What You'll Do

  • Build awesome end user experience using a combination of UX design + Right UI frameworks.
  • Manage, design, execute and take complete responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of software projects/products
  • Help the team translate the business requirements into R&D tasks
  • Work with business groups to outline project deliverables and manage the roadmap of the R&D tasks
  • Work with the product team to understand the end user needs and build intuitive UI flows
  • Follow Agile development model to incrementally build out the applications with regular reviews with product and stakeholders
  • Develop and scale best technical design and practices across the organization
  • Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders (Product Managers, Designers) to review usability, accessibility of the UI, to manage delivery, unblock teams, identify risks and remove the roadblocks
  • Lead and influence design conversations for scale, performance and wider adoption of library components
  • Mentor and upskill junior engineers through blogs, peer reviews, design conversations, technology stack choices etc


What You'll Need

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in IT industry.
  • 10+ years of web development technologies including HTML5 JavaScript, typescript, React, CSS, TDD.
  • Superior project management skills to ensure high-quality and timely solution delivery
  • Good understanding of UX design, usability, accessibility, analytics, look and feel consistency.
  • Good understanding of architectural principles, patterns, web performance.
  • Experience in latest trends ES6/7 Node, package management, webpack, babel.
  • Working knowledge of Object-Oriented JavaScript and Functional JavaScript.
  • Having experience/understanding of Material UI design and mobx are preferred.
  • Deep understanding in core web and browser concepts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
