The university is vested with the authority to award Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates. It has been established to meet the increasing demand for higher education in the country.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Vice Chancellor at Arunodaya University located in Itanagar. The Vice Chancellor will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of university operations, including academic planning, faculty management, student affairs, budgeting, and strategic decision-making. The Vice Chancellor will also collaborate with various stakeholders and represent the university in external engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in academic administration and university governance
- Understanding of higher education policies and regulations
- Proven track record of successful strategic planning and implementation
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience as a Vice Chancellor or in a senior leadership role at a university
- Knowledge of regional education landscape and challenges
