Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Billing Associate with a proven track record of at least 3 years in the field. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of medical billing procedures. As a Medical Billing Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of medical claims and invoices, while also maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies promptly and accurately.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, identifying and resolving issues to ensure maximum reimbursement.
  • Review and verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical billing regulations and coding practices.
  • Generate and analyze billing reports to track and monitor claim status and reimbursement trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including medical coders and accountants, to ensure accurate billing and financial reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation of billing process improvements and workflow enhancements.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior billing staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
