Job Summary:


As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of our infrastructure, focusing on ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of software. You will lead a team of DevOps engineers, collaborate with development teams, and implement best practices to streamline our operations. Your expertise in containerization, CI/CD tools, configuration management, and infrastructure as code will be crucial in enhancing our system's reliability, scalability, and security.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the DevOps team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Codefresh.
  • Oversee containerization efforts, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift to optimize application deployment and management.
  • Manage configuration management processes using Ansible, ensuring consistent and reliable infrastructure configuration.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code practices using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling.
  • Ensure environment support through effective certificate management, patch management, and vulnerability management.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using tools such as Splunk, New Relic, or equivalent monitoring solutions.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation using shell/bash scripting and YAML.
  • Ensure the stability and security of Linux and Windows operating systems in the production environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, optimize workflows, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.


Must Have Skills:

  • Containerization: Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
  • CI/CD Tools: Extensive experience with Codefresh, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab.
  • Configuration Management: Hands-on experience with Ansible.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in Terraform.
  • Environment Support: Strong knowledge in certificate management, patch management, and vulnerability management.
  • Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Splunk, New Relic, or equivalent tools.
  • Coding/Scripting: Proficient in shell/bash scripting and YAML.
  • Operating System: Solid understanding of both Linux and Windows operating systems.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a DevOps role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
