Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Project Manager in the cement industry. The role involves overseeing project design, cost estimation, scheduling, and execution. While the role is primarily based in Surat, flexibility for remote work is available.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Familiarity with local standards and codes for the area of responsibility.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the cement industry.
  • Strong technical report writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and define the scope of cement industry projects.
  • Manage project budget, timeline, and resources.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present project reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  • Resolve any issues and solve problems that may occur during the project.
  • Maintain communication with clients, team members, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites.
  • Ensure the project complies with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
