Job Title: Oracle Mantas Transaction Monitoring Developer
Role Overview: As an Oracle Mantas Transaction Monitoring Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining transaction monitoring solutions using Oracle Mantas. You will work closely with compliance officers, analysts, and IT teams to implement effective monitoring strategies that detect and prevent financial crimes, such as money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing. Your expertise in Oracle Mantas and understanding of financial regulations will be essential in safeguarding the organization's reputation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design transaction monitoring solutions tailored to the organization's needs.
- Development: Develop and customize Oracle Mantas scenarios, detection rules, and risk models to enhance transaction monitoring capabilities.
- Integration: Integrate Oracle Mantas with other systems and data sources, such as core banking systems, transactional databases, and third-party APIs, to access relevant transaction data for monitoring purposes.
- Configuration: Configure and fine-tune Oracle Mantas parameters, thresholds, and alerting mechanisms to optimize detection accuracy and minimize false positives.
- Testing: Conduct thorough testing of transaction monitoring scenarios to ensure effectiveness and reliability in detecting suspicious activities.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Oracle Mantas configurations, scenarios, and workflows for future reference and audit trail purposes.

- Compliance Support: Assist compliance officers in responding to regulatory inquiries, audits, and investigations by providing data analysis and supporting documentation related to transaction monitoring activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in transaction monitoring and financial crime detection to continuously enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Oracle Mantas solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a developer or analyst in Oracle Mantas transaction monitoring solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, such as AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and CTF (Counter-Terrorist Financing).
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database technologies.
- Experience with software development methodologies and version control systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify anomalous patterns.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Oracle Mantas or related technologies.
- Prior experience in the financial services industry, particularly in compliance or risk management roles.
