Job Title: Programming Language Instructor 

Location: Chennai, India 

Job Description: 

As a Programming Language Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and training to individuals or groups of students in various programming languages. Your role will involve teaching programming concepts, methodologies, and best practices to help students develop their coding skills and advance their careers in the field of software development. You will be part of a dynamic team of instructors and collaborate with other professionals to design and update curriculum materials. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and deliver engaging and interactive programming language courses to students. 
  • Teach programming concepts, syntax, algorithms, data structures, and software development methodologies. 
  • Facilitate hands-on coding exercises, projects, and assignments to reinforce learning objectives. 
  • Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth. 
  • Assist in the development and updating of curriculum materials, including lesson plans, exercises, and assessments. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest programming language trends, tools, and frameworks. 
  • Support students in resolving programming challenges and debugging errors. 
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to encourage student participation and collaboration. 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve their learning goals. 
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the quality of instruction and student experience. 

Requirements: 

  • At least 3+ years of prior teaching or training experience, preferably in a classroom or workshop setting.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong proficiency in two or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, and JavaScript. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Passion for programming and a genuine interest in helping others learn. 
  • Ability to explain complex programming concepts in a clear and understandable manner. 
  • Patience and empathy in working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels. 
  • Familiarity with instructional methodologies, curriculum development, and assessment techniques. 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and emerging trends in programming languages. 
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to assist students in debugging and troubleshooting code. 


Note: This role is not suitable for candidates with no Teaching experience.
