Job Title: Backend Developer (NestJS and Golang)


Location: Hyderabad, India (with overlap with USA Central Time Zone)

Role Overview: As a Backend Developer at NexQloud, you'll be instrumental in architecting and developing robust software solutions using a diverse tech stack, including Go (Golang), Node.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, Linux, and AWS.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance applications using Go (Golang), Node.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and implement solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Design and implement APIs, microservices, and other backend components using best practices and design patterns.
  • Integrate with backend services and APIs to retrieve and store data and handle authentication and authorization.
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
  • Drive technical innovation by staying updated on emerging technologies, evaluating new tools and frameworks, and advocating for their adoption when appropriate.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for the adoption of innovative practices and tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project milestones, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in Go (Golang), Node.js, Nest.js, MongoDB, Linux, and AWS.
  • 5+ years of experience in software application development, with at least 2 years of experience in backend application development using Go, Node.js, or Nest.js.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture, cloud hosting, and blockchain technology.
  • Strong proficiency in Dart programming language.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate common working hours with the USA Central Time Zone.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with blockchain development and integration.
  • Experience with other programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Prior experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
  • Experience with native mobile app development for iOS or Android platforms.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins or Fastlane.
  • Contribution to open-source projects or active participation in the Node.js, Nest.js, and Golang communities.
