Solutions Architect

Role: Solution Architect Experience: 4 – 7 YearsLocation: Chennai (Hybrid) Job DescriptionSolution Design and Architecture: Design integration architectures within larger products' modules. Improve re-usability by looking for reusing less amount of different components for the same purpose, standardizing over less, "better" ones. Help in selecting the best module for a specific use-case. Analyze the current tech composition and suggest ways for improving it by adhering to Architects' team principles.Technical Advisement: Act as a primary technical advisor to development teams, providing insights on how various solutions can be customized and integrated. Research on new technologies and modules and test their suitability for the purpose. Build First of Kind implementations (PoC) and hand them over to development teams when ready. Make sure the technical choices are underpinned by the different teams' budget and overall IQVIA strategy for modules and products. Analytical Problem-Solving: Apply strong analytical skills to dissect customer challenges, envision technical solutions, and identify the most effective pathways for implementation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other tech team like *Ops (DevOps, InfraOps, SecOps) to develop and refine solutions that drive business results and enhance customer satisfaction while ensuring proper development and installation cycles are easily doable.Communication and Presentation: Deliver clear and complete technical presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into accessible insights.Enhance the Portfolio: Contribute to the repository of solution components and drive selected improvement actions to drive replication and improvement on the solution proposition. Key Qualifications:Job fitting: Technical background in solution architecture, familiar with Architecture templates/frameworks like TOGAF, Domain- Driven design, MAP or others.Technical Expertise: knowledge or microservice architecture, database technologies (ideally familiar with both relational and documental database), integration in healthcare protocols (HL7, FHIR, DICOM), API and code generator concepts.Analytical Thinking: Advanced problem-solving skills with the capacity to break down intricate challenges and synthesize information into practical, actionable solutions. Passion for innovation is also key for recognizing development opportunities to improve the existing portfolio.Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, skilled at conveying technical solutions to other architects, developers, product managers/owners. The ideal candidate communicates effectively and manages ambiguity.Preferred Experience:4+ years of experience in solution architecture or a related field with a focus on technical roles.Relevant technical certifications in architecture frameworks or cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are a plus.Knowledge of multiple products and technologies within .Net, Java, Angular, KendUI, Javascript , Jquery, Web API, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQL Server (or others like Oracle, PostgreSQL,…), , Elastic Search, MongoDB, Microservices, Kubernetes, Rancher Azure Web Apps, Service Hub, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), OAuth2.0, SAML, Power BI, Grafana, Prometheus, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins CI/CD, ArgoCD, MinIO, Helm, Harbor, Nexus, etcKnowledge of healthcare industry standards and technology:○ Communication protocols like FHIR, HL7;○ Concepts related to HA, BC, and DR and different ways to achieve them;
