Job Title: Tax Senior – VAT (Indirect Tax)Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Gurgaon Department: Global Delivery Services – Indirect Tax Experience: 7–10 yearsAbout the Role:We are seeking a Tax Senior – VAT to join our dynamic, globally integrated Indirect Tax team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a culturally diverse workforce supporting global accounts across 30+ countries, with plans to expand to 50+. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality VAT compliance and advisory services, managing end-to-end client engagements, and leading process improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage VAT client engagements from planning to completionReview amended federal and state income tax returns and supporting workpapersInterpret and apply state/local tax regulations; provide recommendationsAnalyze and recommend tax strategies for process improvementsParticipate in tax audits and prepare audit responsesDrive adoption of new tools, technology, and quality initiativesConduct and lead internal calls, manage compliance activitiesMentor, train, and guide junior team membersSkills & Attributes:Strong leadership, analytical, and project management skillsExcellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environmentPassion for client service and delivering valueQualifications:Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or related field7–10 years of relevant experience in VAT/Indirect Tax, State Compliance, or Amended ReturnsExperience with tax tools (CorpTax, OneSource, GoSystem)Working knowledge of Accounts Payable/ReceivableProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExposure to Power BI, Alteryx is an added advantagePreferred:Prior experience in global VAT complianceStrong understanding of local country indirect tax regulations
