About our partner

We are seeking an exceptional project manager to spearhead the establishment of our cutting-edge international fintech innovation hub. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the collaboration between multiple stakeholders, including government agencies, multilateral funding partners, internal planning and construction teams, and various other entities.


Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact, facilitating seamless communication and coordination among all stakeholders involved in the project. Conduct regular progress updates, manage expectations, and ensure alignment across teams.

2. Strategic Planning: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of leading fintech institutes and incubators worldwide. Leverage these insights to craft a compelling vision statement and strategic roadmap for the IFI Institute, positioning it as a global hub of fintech innovation.

3. Project Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive project management plan, encompassing timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation strategies, and contingency plans. Establish clear milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.

4. Governance and Reporting: Implement a robust governance framework, including regular cadence meetings, progress monitoring, and reporting mechanisms. Produce insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.

5. Budget and Resource Management: Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective execution. Identify and secure required resources, including personnel, equipment, and infrastructure, to support project success.

6. Change Management: Anticipate and proactively manage changes in project scope, requirements, or external factors. Develop and implement strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain project continuity.

7. Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to project team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to excel.


Competencies:

• Extensive experience in the fintech or financial services industry is highly desirable.

• Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex organizational structures.

• Proven experience in managing cross-functional and global teams, with a deep understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt communication styles accordingly.

• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to influence and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and cost optimization.

• Proficiency in creating and delivering high-quality presentations, reports, and dashboards.

• International experience and a global mindset are highly preferred.
