We are seeking a skilled Linux Administrator (6+ years of exp in OS/infra level) with a strong foundation in system administration, scripting, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our Linux-based vendor and in-house developed applications and infrastructure while demonstrating proficiency in a wide range of technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

· Proficient in Linux administration with expertise in Shell scripting and system optimization.

· Extensive experience in kernel tuning, inetd and xinetd services, iptables, SSL certificate management, file system administration, patching, package management, socket configuration, firewall setup, file permission management, NFS, network administration, and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP and FTP).

· Familiarity with DNS, SSH, Kerberos, NFS, LVM, mail servers, and debugging tools.

· Strong command over system administration tools such as awk, sed, grep, pgrep, pstree, and strace.

· Be able to continuous improve our Linux operational posture by ensuring all components are reliable, resilient and scalable.

· Good understanding of DevOps concepts and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

· Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, and the ability to write code using Terraform Modules.

· Knowledge of scripting languages, especially Terraform and Python, to automate and improve operational processes.

· Experience in GitLab CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitOps.

· Familiarity with the HasiCorp stack and a focus on security and vulnerability management.

· Adaptable to modern technologies, keeping abreast of industry advancements and embracing continuous learning.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.

· Ability to handle critical Linux incidents with composure and efficiency, promptly troubleshooting and resolving issues.

· Proactive mindset for self-development, staying updated with industry trends and expanding technical skill sets.

· Willingness to work in shifts and prior experience in ITIL processes.

Desired Skills and Certifications:

· Mandatory certification in RHCSA/RHCE, with AWS solution architectures certification being a strong asset.

· Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including VPC, EC2, ELB, S3, EKS, ECS, SDK, and AWS CLI.

· Knowledge of Kubernetes deployment and proficiency in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafa
