Technology Program Manager

In this role you will leverage your broad program management experience to accelerate business outcomes by enabling the organization to deliver successfully against industry standards. You will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively and successfully drive a portfolio of vital engineering programs. You will quickly establish
rapport, credibility, trust and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player and strategic partner. This role will directly report to the CTO. Candidates must possess the desire to build and drive transformation engineering programs to build a world class engineering culture and enable outstanding business outcomes for BharatPe.
Responsibilities will include
Functional Expertise
1. Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CTO to develop and execute strategic engineering plans, initiatives, and special projects aligned with the company's mission and goals.
2. Project and Program Management: Lead and oversee critical engineering strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company objectives.
3. Oversee critical projects milestones and objectives, including system and process requirements, developing solutions, performing cost analyses, and managing approved efforts to successful completion.
4. Develop and implement robust operating mechanisms to support successful program execution. Benchmark these against industry best practices and continuously improve our project/program management methodologies in terms of speed, cost, and quality.
Problem Solving
1. Review, refine, and ensure the consistent application of current project management processes across all teams and projects.
2. Review and enhance all product development and engineering organizational processes for Payments (Offline/Online), Consumer Business, Merchant Lending and other teams. Define communication touch points to ensure effective and efficient operations.
3. Define management reports that pinpoint and communicate issues and progress, also establish the company's standard process with checks and balances in place to catch and rectify deviations early around the critical projects.
4. Track and manage delivery and resourcing risks, ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed as needed.
Interaction
1. Create clear visibility for the leadership both on the tech and business side on all the initiatives and programs with clear KPIs tied back to goals and report consistently on progress, blockers, dependencies and help needed from the leadership to unblock in several cases in all key functions like Merchant Lending, Merchant PoD, Payments and other functions.
2. Building strong relationships with stakeholders across BharatPe, defining goals and deliverables for large-scale programs, and efficiently utilizing engineering resources will be crucial.
3. Exceptional ability to drive tasks, ensuring efficient project execution while maintaining accountability and fostering a collaborative and empowering work environment.

Qualification &Experience (type & industry)
● Be/BTech with overall 8-12 years of experience and 6+ Years of Technical Program Management Experience leading complex large technical programs/ products and teams in software delivery within a related industry managing aggressive schedules and significant business impact.
● Experienced in system/platform design concepts, architecture, technical design, services, APIs, and technologies preferably in a Fintech or product company of repute
● Strong ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and leading strategic engineering programs, setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and conducting performance
evaluations to drive individual and team growth.
● Expertise in change & risk management methodologies, project management tools,
techniques, project tracking tools, dashboards, and reports
● Strong experience with Enterprise Agile Project Management, ability to connect vision, strategy
and initiative, able to articulate the big picture and drive influence and consensus around
application and platform teams.
