Job Descriptions:

  • The Engine Rebuild and Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding engines for a variety of vehicles and machinery. This role requires a thorough understanding of engine components, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work efficiently to meet customer needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose engine problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Disassemble engines and inspect parts for wear and damage.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.
  • Reassemble, test, and tune engines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs and parts used.
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers about repairs.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in automotive technology preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in engine repair and rebuilding.
  • Extensive knowledge of engine systems, components, and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
