Role Description

The Salesforce Technical Architect is a key member of the SRM Tech Salesforce team, responsible for designing and implementing scalable and robust solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role involves providing technical leadership, capturing requirements, designing solutions, and delivering technologies that meet client business goals and technical requirements. The Technical Architect will collaborate closely with Project Manager and various stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical designs that align with best practices and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce platform development and architecture, capable of working independently and thriving in an entrepreneurial atmosphere. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with business operations and stakeholders. A successful Technical Architect has robust development experience and enjoys developing technical solutions.


Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and data migrations.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Architect and design scalable and maintainable solutions that meet business requirements and align with platform best practices.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.

Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies, recommending solutions that enhance our Salesforce practice.

Mentor and coach junior developers to foster their growth and development within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Document solutions clearly and articulately, including artifacts like code samples and screen captures.

Identify project issues/risks and present alternatives for resolution.

Manage multiple client engagements and coordinate with associated team members.

Lead consultative engagements with clients to address technical and business challenges related to their Salesforce initiatives.



Required Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 10 years of experience in Salesforce platform development and architecture.

Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect.

In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, capabilities, and limitations.

Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and experience integrating Salesforce with external systems.

Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.

Experience with Salesforce data modelling and database design.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.


Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Experience in solution architecture/design within SaaS CRM or other Salesforce platforms.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with DevOps practices and tools related to Salesforce deployment.

Knowledge of other CRM platforms and their integration with Salesforce.

Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and version control systems.
