Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant –Senior Python Developer

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications and systems. Your role will involve utilizing your strong technical expertise in Python programming and related technologies to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design software solutions, and develop efficient and scalable Python applications.

- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code following coding standards and best practices.

- Developing and implementing robust back-end functionalities, including data processing, APIs, and integrations with external systems.

- Performing unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the code.

- Conducting code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring junior developers.

- Participating in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

- Collaborating with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and ensure smooth application delivery.

- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and applying them to enhance software development practices.

- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, investigating and fixing bugs, and improving application performance.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualificaitons

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- Working professional experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on core python development.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming language, including knowledge of core Python concepts, data structures, and algorithms.

- Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, and proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

- Solid understanding of SQL and experience in working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.

- Proficiency in version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.

- Experience in writing testable and maintainable code, and familiarity with unit testing frameworks like PyTest or Unittest.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex software issues.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Technical Skills:

You should have expertise in the following technical areas:

- Python programming language.

- Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).

- SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

- NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).

- Version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Unit testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, Unittest).

- Agile development methodologies.

- Front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
